Welcome to Book Scout! These terms of service outline the rules and regulations for the use of our application. By accessing or using Book Scout, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms.
You agree to use Book Scout only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else's use and enjoyment of the application. Prohibited behavior includes harassing or causing distress or inconvenience to any other user, transmitting obscene or offensive content, or disrupting the normal flow of dialogue within the application.
To access certain features of Book Scout, you may be required to create an account. You must provide accurate and complete information and keep your account information updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer or device. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password.
All content included on Book Scout, such as text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Book Scout or its content suppliers and is protected by international copyright laws. You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or exploit any portion of the application without express written permission from us.
We may terminate or suspend your access to Book Scout immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the terms. Upon termination, your right to use the application will cease immediately.
In no event shall Book Scout, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your use or inability to use the application; (ii) any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein; (iii) any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the application; (iv) any bugs, viruses, trojan horses, or the like that may be transmitted to or through our application by any third party; (v) any errors or omissions in any content or for any loss or damage incurred as a result of the use of any content posted, emailed, transmitted, or otherwise made available through the application; and/or (vi) the defamatory, offensive, or illegal conduct of any third party. In no event shall our aggregate liability exceed the amount paid by you, if any, for accessing the application.
These terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Book Scout operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
